We will focus our attention on their stance on Marxism, Theory and two keys in his literary conceptions: "the politics of the form" of Eagleton and "the structure of attitude and reference" of Said because taking in account the political dimension in the work of this two writers allows a better understanding of its meaning and value the contribution that the both have made to literary studies. Hence, for both authors, the sphere of politics and literature are not separated but, definitely, the same.
