Issue Date: | 2018 | Journal: | Journal of Natural Products | Abstract: | Cybastacines A (1) and B (2) were discovered as a novel pentacyclic sesterterpenoid-alkaloid skeleton structure, with a guanidinium group. These molecules were isolated from a Nostoc sp. cyanobacterium collected in the Canary Islands. Their structures were elucidated primarily by a combination of spectroscopic analyses and X-ray diffraction. These compounds showed antibiotic activities against several clinically relevant bacterial strains. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10553/41456 | ISSN: | 0163-3864 | DOI: | 10.1021/acs.jnatprod.7b00638 | Source: | Journal of Natural Products [ISSN 0163-3864], v. 81 (2), p. 410-413 |
