| dc.description.abstract | Landslide deposits of Gran Canaria were poorly understood before 1990. Our survey has shown that these deposits are composed of large translational landslides, attaining volumes up to 109 m3. A total of 28 landslides have been classified and mapped at the Tirajana Basin. A reassessment of the landslide age indicates that movements started in early-middle Pleistocene. | es |
