Abstract: In this paper, wind power and CCT are studied in a small isolated power system. Two types of wind turbines are considered: a squirrel cage induction generator (SCIG) and a full converter. The study focuses on the small, isolated Lanzarote-Fuerteventura power system, which is expected to be in operation by 2020.
