Abstract: Las especies que con mayor abundancia se pescan en el litoral mediterráneo español son la caballa Scomber scombrus; el atún Thunnus Thynnus; la melva Auxis Thanzard y el bonito Pelamys sarda.
The scombroid fishes exploited in the Mediterranean Spanish coast are the mackerel Scomber scombrus; bluefin tuna Thunnus Thynnus; bonito Pelamys sarda and the frigate mackerel Auxis Thanzard. Little quantities of albacore Germo alalunga are present sometimes.
