La enseñanza de música en el siglo XXI

Abstract

Este trabajo pretende analizar de manera simplificada las estructuras organizativas dirigidas a la enseñanza musical existentes en otros países. Dada la imposibilidad de analizar cada uno de los países, hemos seguido la clasificación realizada por Cid (2011). De esta manera analizaremos un país que representará a cada una de las tres grandes áreas de influencia de los estudios musicales europeos. En el área germano-austríaca estudiaremos a Alemania, en área de influencia inglesa analizaremos a Estados Unidos y en el área de influencia latina elegiremos a Francia. Tras esto abordaremos las enseñanzas musicales en España en general, y en Canarias en particular. En la conclusión se determina cómo la flexibilización educativa que encontramos en otros países, ha de conducir a una reflexión sobre los valores que España puede aportar al ámbito internacional, ayudando así a diseñar el sistema al que queremos dirigirnos.

This work analyzes in a simplified way, the existing organizational structures used to teach music in other countries. In view of the impossibility of analyzing each country, we followed the classification carried out by Cid (2011). Hence we shall analyze a country that represents each one of the large areas of influence of the European music studies. In the German-Austrian area, we shall study Germany, in the area of English influence, we shall analyze the United States, and in the area of Latin influence, we shall choose France. We shall subsequently address the music teachings in Spain in general, and in the Canary Islands in particular. In the conclusion it is determined how the educational flexibility found in other countries, has lead to a reflection on the values that Spain can bring to the international arena, helping to design the system that we want to go.
