| dc.description.abstract | A transgresive sequence of Pliocene age is described from the Gran Canaria north. Four sedimentary facies are established, representing different subenvironments from lower shoreface (Strong bioturbated sandstones) to foreshore (laminated sandstones). The interbbeded volcanic agglomerate represents a subaerial pyroclastic flow that is deposited in the middle shoreface. It's included in the Roque Nublo Group, dating the complete sequence. | en_US |
