Formaçao de professoes da facultade no Catalan Autónoma

Abstract

Durante la Conferencia mundial sobre la Educación Superior de la UNESCO, celebrada en 1999, se aprobaron documentos que insisten en la necesidad de la educación permanente del profesorado universitario y su formación pedagógica. Este artículo tiene como objetivo describir la formación permanente del profesorado universitario de la Comunidad Autónoma Catalana, su evolución y su estado actual, tomando como referencias los Planes de Formación de las universidades públicas. El método empleado responde a un enfoque cualitativo utilizando como estrategia de recogida de información el análisis documental de los referentes institucionales, así como otros documentos de interés que aportan información relevante al estudio. Los resultados más destacables sitúan la formación permanente del profesorado universitario en Cataluña en un marco político y económico concreto donde la formación docente ha ido rediseñándose y evolucionando para adaptarse al contexto actual. Los hallazgos fundamentales evidencian una alta preocupación de las instituciones catalanas ante la mejora de la calidad de la docencia universitaria, tanto a nivel disciplinal directa o transversal, como a nivel pedagógico.

During the 1999 UNESCO World Conference on Higher Education, they were approved documents that emphasize the need of continuing and permanent education of university teachers and their pedagogical training. This article aims to describe the ongoing training of university teachers in the Catalan Autonomous Community, their evolution and their current state, taking the Training Plans of state universities as reference. The method applied is based on a qualitative approach, using the information provided by the documentary analysis of institutional references as a tool of information's collection , as well as other documents of interest that contribute relevant information to the study. The most outstanding results obtained are that the permanent training of university teachers in Catalonia are located in a specific political and economic framework where teacher training has been redesigned and evolved to adapt to the current context. The fundamental results show there is a high concern of the Catalan institutions towards the improvement of the quality of university teaching, both at the direct or transversal disciplinary level and at the pedagogical level.
