Urban and industrial residues are generally difficult to recycle or reuse. Although combustion soot, cellulose ash, cigarette butts, and Tetra Brik Aseptic© containers are abundantly available in Chile, the country’s recycling industry is struggling to find an affordable techno-economical solution. In this chapter, we will show experimental results and an analysis of particle loss, air void, and the stability of porous asphalt mixtures manufactured for different types of pavement, and show that all of them can be incorporated into porous asphalt mixtures without sacrificing mechanical and functional capabilities, even increasing their mechanical strength and durability.en_US
