Issue Date: | 2024 | Journal: | Novos Estudos Jurídicos | Abstract: | Contextualization: this article addresses the digital threats that arise with the use of artificial intelligence. To do so, we will focus on how this technology has been exploited to carry out a variety of cybercrimes such as automated phishing, smishing, intelligent malware, identity theft, cyberbullying, among others. These threats pose significant challenges to digital security globally, affecting individuals, businesses and governments, causing significant economic and social consequences. Objectives: to analyze the digital threats derived from the use of artificial intelligence in cybercrime and to analyze its challenges, risks, consequences proposing a strategy to combat it. Method: methodology based on a combination of theoretical analysis and literature review. Results: through this research, technological, regulatory and educational solutions are proposed to address these threats.
