Title: | Economic and Resilience Improvement for Radial and Meshed Grids | Authors: | Rosales Asensio, Enrique Simón Martín,Miguel de Blanes Peiró, Jorge |
UNESCO Clasification: | 33 Ciencias tecnológicas | Keywords: | Power resilence Microgrid |
Issue Date: | 2024 | Publisher: | Springer | Abstract: | A resilient photovoltaic system, which comprises the joint use of photovoltaic solar panels and electrochemical storage that is capable of operating both with and without grid connection, is capable of providing an added service both during normal grid-connected operation and when a blackout occurs (as opposed to a traditional solar system, which is only operational when the grid is operational). When the conventional power grid is in normal operation, resilient photovoltaic systems are able to generate revenue and/or reduce the electricity bill. During blackouts, resilient photovoltaic systems are capable of providing critical emergency power. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10553/134644 | ISBN: | 978-3-031-67753-3 | DOI: | 10.1007/978-3-031-67754-0_8 | Source: | Energy System Resilience and Distributed Generation / David Borge Díez, Enrique Rosales Asensio (eds), p.239-296 |
