Excess molar heat capacities of organic mixtures of non-electrolytes were determined from experimental measurements of the heat capacity, using a method for a Calvet microcalorimeter. Results are reported for the following binary mixtures at 298.15 K: cyclohexane + (hexan-l -01, hexan-2-ol, 4-methylpentan-2-ol, 2-ethylbutan-l-ol, 2-methylpentan-2-ol and 3-methylpentan-3-ol). The C)E PM ´s" are positive in all cases, but are represented by rather asymmetrical curves of different shapes, being fitted through an appropiated equation.
