Abstract: After stating that 30% of the elderly population will suff er at least one fall per year, and establishing that the future expectation is that of an ageing society, it is necessary to establish which interventions will provide the most scientific evidence to reduce the number of falls or the risk of suff ering them. It is necessary to establish which intervention(s) will provide the most scientific evidence to reduce the number of falls or the risk of falling. Falls can lead to diffi culty in mobility, diffi culty in carrying out Activities of Daily Living, disability and reduced social interaction. In addition, all of this can lead to an increase in social and health care costs. For this we have carried out a bibliographic review, based on the key words (fall, fall risk, fall prevention, older adult and elderly) and after passing the results through the following inclusion criteria (person over or equal to 65 years of age, living in the community and not suff ering from uncontrolled cardiac, respiratory, visual, neurological, visual, neurological or neurological pathologies), and after passing the results through the following inclusion criteria (person over or equal to 65 years of age, living in the community and not suff ering from uncontrolled pathologies), respiratory, visual, neurological and gait), we concluded that the best intervention is the one that includes a regular intervention, plus multicomponent exercise, plus a minimum intervention time of 5 months and if possible with a development of physical activity in a group setting.
