It is well knownthat stress and an unbalanced diet seriously affect the welfare of several fish species. At present, there is increasing interest in replacing fish oil (FO) by vegetable oils (VO) in formulated feeds, due to its high demand and low availability in the market, which increases production costs dramatically. Therefore, the aim of this thesis was to evaluate the effect of different dietary (linseed oil, LO; soybean oil, SO) on welfare and immune system of juvenile Senegalese sole (Solea senegalensis).
