Abstract: The present work aims to propose the use of Moringa Oleifera seed extract as a coagulant in water treatment, taking as a reference its efficiency in removing turbidity compared to the use of aluminium sulphate coagulant. The Moringa Oleifera coagulant is easy to acquire and use and when prepared in an optimized way, it complies with the recommended water potability standards. In environmental terms, its use is recommended as it does not transmit harmful by-products to the environment.
