Abstract: This article describes the design of a pair of educational software to predict the electric field in links point to point (EREPP) and the coverage in links point-multipoint (PROEM). These educational software have two types of propagation models: deterministic and empirical. Empirical propagation models are those based on observations and meausrements alone. Okomura-Hata. Rec. UIT-P. 1546. Cost 231. These models predict mean path loss as a function of various parameters, for example distance, frequency, antenna height, etc. Deterministic models have an analytical solution. Ray Tracing. Diffracted and reflected waves. These educational programs are not guided to the final result. Their main objective is to give the student an useful tool to understand the theoretical concepts of the used models.
