Currently, some conventional surgical techniques described in veterinary ophthalmology are very aggressive and invasive. Throughout this document we describe ocular diseases such as entropion, ectropion, dry eye disease, distichiasis, trichiasis, blepharitis, chalazion and diseases of the nasolacrimal drainage system (imperforated lacrimal punctum and obstruction of the lacrimal canaliculi), and the possibility of treating them in a less invasive way. For this we have used the Jett Plasma Vet, which is a Veterinary Medical Device, Plasma discharge generator, compact, light and very versatile. Many ocular surface problems can be treated in a simple and minimally invasive way thanks to this device. The Jett Plasma Medical treatment uses plasma and works with high voltage direct current.en_US
