Issue Date: | 1998 | Publisher: | Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC) | Conference: | 8th International Symposium on Nutrition and Feeding of Fish | Abstract: | Ovigerous females of Plesionika edwardsii accepted mussel better than other food. Eggs in embrionary stage 1 hatched at day 10-15, while eggs in embrionary stage 2 at day 8-9. Dietary treatment consisting of phytoplankton (Tetraselmis or Isochrysis) with rotifers Brachionus plicatilis supplied at the first day (10 rot./ml) gave the most long-lived larvae. Zoeas from stage I to VII are described and their size evolution is analysed. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10553/123538 | Source: | Recent advances in finfish & crustacean nutrition : programme & abstracts, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, june 1-4, 1998 : VIII International Symposium on Nutrition and Feeding of Fish, P. 143, p. 232 |
