Abstract: In this research we deal with the use of the Genetic Algorithms to optimize the problems originated by overbooking phenomena, in the hospitaUty industry. We are trying to support the business to minimize the cost generated as a consequence of overboolcing situations and optimize the relodging of clients to other estabUshments. In accordance with the results obtained we can assign, in a optimun way, each guest to an establishment. As well we analyze the designed GA and reports results in determining nearoptimal in a sudied hotel association.
