Abstract: This work presents a teaching experience based on a course project common to different subjects and implemented during several consecutive academic courses in the second year of the Máster Universitario en Ingeniería Industrial of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The aim is to boost the learning of the students through the generation of synergies between the different subjects, using a project-based learning approach, allowing the students to go deeply into the different aspects of the subjects and to analyze the problem in a multidisciplinary way. The experience is developed with the subjects “Projects”, “Design, construction and exploitation of industrial plants”, “Organization and management of companies”, “Business creation” and “Management of industrial innovation”. The students must address the project of design of an industrial plant, and the analysis, from different perspectives, of the company that would run it. In the work carried out in each subject, the students develop, incrementally, the aspects that pertain to that subject. The analysis of the projects developed by the students and the results from the surveys show that the proposal has a very positive impact on the learning process of the students.
