Recorrido histórico-cultural por el casco urbano de Arucas

Abstract

Tratamos de ofrecer al lector la posibilidad de hacer una visita rápida y autoguiada por lo más significativo del conjunto históricoartístico de la ciudad. Se trata de un itinerario no convencional, limitado al conocimiento de algunos inmuebles de gran valor estético y arquitectónico fijando la mirada en la huella del pasado vinculado a la importancia del empleo de la piedra en los elementos constructivos, el agua y sus usos; la cultura y los jardines en la relación de las personas con la naturaleza y el ocio.

We try to offer the reader the possibility of making a quick and selfguided visit to the most significant of the historical-artistic complex of the city. It is an unconventional itinerary, limited to the knowledge of some buildings of great aesthetic and architectural value, fixing our gaze on the trace of the past linked to the importance of the use of stone in construction elements, water and its uses; culture and gardens in the relationship of people with nature and leisure.
