UNESCO Clasification: | 1203 Ciencia de los ordenadores | Keywords: | CoolBOT | Issue Date: | 2005 | Conference: | VI Workshop de Agentes Físicos, WAF'2005, I Congreso Español de Informática (CEDI’2005) | Abstract: | This document presents an operating version of CoolBOT, a component oriented software framework for programming robotic systems, that was already presented in WAF’2002 [3] when it was at the beginning of its development. CoolBOT has been designed having in mind the idea of programming by integrating software components, in order to reduce the developing effort typically invested when programming robots. CoolBOT also fosters some interesting features, such as asynchronous execution, asynchronous inter communication, data-flowdriven processing, and cognizant failure systems. A simple demonstrator illustrates the benefits of using the proposed approach. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10553/116802 | URL: | https://www.researchgate.net/publication/277141713_More_about_CoolBOT |
