El gol como objetivo motor del fútbol: tendencias encontradas en las publicaciones científicas

Abstract

El fútbol pertenece al grupo de deportes cuyo objetivo motor es llevar el balón a una meta. El gol es el objetivo motor del fútbol y su estudio interesa a investigadores y a entrenadores. El propósito de la presente contribución es examinar las tendencias de las publicaciones científicas en torno al gol como objetivo motor del fútbol. Se realizaron búsquedas de artículos (21 años) en una base de datos especializada en investigación deportiva y considerándose tres aspectos: componentes de la Dinámica de juego, factores del objetivo motor “gol” y perfil de las publicaciones. El “gol” tiene un 18% más peso en los artículos publicados que el “ataque”, un 21,8% más que la “táctica” y un12,2% más que la “técnica”. La “puntuación”, el “tiro a puerta” y los “goles marcados” conjuntamente tienen un 30% más peso en los artículos de publicaciones académicas que la suma de los restantes factores (tiro de penalti, tiro libre directo, gol en propia meta, intento de gol, resultado final, marcador y goles evitados o parados). Las revistas donde se publica más contenido sobre el “gol” (concretamente sobre la “puntuación) tienen un buen factor de impacto (cuartiles 1 y 2) y los artículos mayormente son británicos (23,94%) y españoles (16,9%).

Soccer belongs to the group of sports whose motor objective is to take the ball to a goal. The goal is the motor objective of football and its study is of interest to researchers and coaches. The purpose of this contribution is to examine the trends in scientific publications regarding the goal as a motor objective in soccer. Searches for articles (21 years) were carried out in a database specialized in sports research, considering three aspects: components of the dynamics of the game, factors of the motor objective "goal" and profile of the publications. The “goal” has 18% more weight in the published articles than the “attack”, 21.8% more than the “tactic” and 12.2% more than the “technique”. "Score", "shot on goal" and "goals scored" together have 30% more weight in academic journal articles than the sum of the remaining factors (penalty shoot-out, direct free kick, own goal, goal attempt, final result, score and goals avoided or stopped). The journals where more content is published on the "goal" (specifically on the "score") have a good impact factor (quartiles 1 and 2) and the articles are mostly British (23.94%) and Spanish (16.9%).
