All rights reserved.The present chapter deals with the effect of lifestyles and lifestyle intervention for male fertility. It addresses negative effects of excessive training load, unhealthy eating, and other detrimental lifestyles like smoking, alcohol, and recreational drug use. Also highlighted and discussed is exposure to endocrine disruptors, substances that interfere with the proper functioning of the hormonal system and therefore may alter human reproductive potential. The chapter also highlights the beneficial effects of healthy interventions, either for natural conception or conception through assisted reproductive techniques.
