Abstract: En este trabajo se muestran las conclusiones obtenidas del estudio de la obra galdosiana desde una concepción pedagógica. Un trabajo de investigación abarcador en el que se aborda la producción completa de Benito Pérez Galdós, para lo cual se han abierto dos líneas de investigación, por una parte, el estudio de la educación y nuevas pedagogías en el siglo XIX; por la otra, la lectura pormenorizada de toda la obra de Galdós, tomando nota de todas las referencias sobre el tema educativo, para ponerlas en relación con la opinión del autor sobre este tema en sus textos epistolares, prólogos y artículos periodísticos. Ello con la finalidad de delimitar los principales temas sobre la educación en el autor canario, establecer los principios de su filosofía pedagógica y constatar la vigencia de su pensamiento en este ámbito. / In this paper we show the conclusions obtained from the study of the Galdosian work from a pedagogical conception. A comprehensive research project that addresses the complete production of Benito Pérez Galdós, for which two lines of research have been opened, on the one hand, the study of education and new pedagogies in the nineteenth century; on the other, a detailed reading of Galdós' entire work, taking note of all the references on the subject of education, in order to put them in relation to the author's opinion on this subject in his epistolary texts, prologues and journalistic articles. This is done with the aim of delimiting the main themes on education in the Canarian author, establishing the principles of his pedagogical philosophy and verifying the modernity of of his thought in this field.
