Fecha de publicación: | 2021 | Resumen: | Aquaculture is the production of living matter in an aquatic environment with human intervention. There are many species that can be cultivated depending on the geographical area, also varying the type of water in which it is carried out (marine or continental), as well as the culture density. It is one of the sectors with the highest growth rate in the world. However, this rapid growth leads to an increase in production intensity, which in turn leads to an increase in the possibility of disease outbreaks due to increased culture density and stress. Therefore, it is necessary to have surveillance and biosecurity programs on farms, as well as quality data collection to prevent and control diseases and to take care of the environment. At present, farms do not analyze the information they collect in depth, which is why the ARISA project was created. This project is responsible for conducting surveys to companies and ADSs in the sector to find out how they carry out the data collection and offer improvements in the methodology. In this bibliographic review, the types of surveillance and the components that an adequate biosecurity plan should have, as well as the parameters that should be monitored in a farm, will be developed. In addition, the survey model used by the ARISA project will be shown. | Departamento: | Departamento de Patología Animal, Producción Animal, Bromatología y Tecnología de Los Alimentos | Facultad: | Facultad de Veterinaria | Titulación: | Grado en Veterinaria | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10553/109004 |
