Contribución al conocimiento de los Hidrozoos Caliptoblástidos del Archipiélago Canario. Parte III: Sertulariidae

Abstract

En este trabajo se estudian 11 especies de Hidrozoos Caliptoblástidos pertenecientes a la familia Sertulariidae, colectados en 14 estaciones distribuidas en las islas de Tenerife, Lanzarote y Fuerteventura. Todas las especies son descritas e ilustradas, y se presentan tablas comparativas de sus medidas. Todas ellas se citan por primera vez para la fauna bentónica marina del Archipiélago Canario.

Eleven species of hydroids from the Sertulariidae family were identified in the Canary Islands. They were obtained in 14 localicities distibuted around the Islands of Tenerife, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura. They are described and figured, and tables of their measurements are given. All the species represent new records for the subtidal fauna of the Canaries.
