Issue Date: | 2021 | Abstract: | Tyrosine kinase proteins are enzymes involved in the regulation of essential intracellular signaling pathways in basic biological processes such as growth, differentiation, apoptosis or metabolism. The dysregulation of these enzymes is mainly related to oncogenesis, but also to inflammatory, autoimmune and metabolic diseases. The participation of these enzymes in multiple pathways has made them become drug targets. With the aim of increasing survival and improving the quality of life of patients, multiple drugs have been developed, including tyrosine kinase inhibitors.
