dc.description.abstract | The use of antiparasitic drugs is widely spread nowadays in the world. The use of inadequate doses and the frequent usage of drugs leads to the faster appearance of resistance in parasites. In this review, we are going to cover what antiparasitic drugs are allowed to be used in Spain in ruminants, specifically in goats, to different groups of parasites. In this review we are also including the methods to detect resistance of a parasite to a drug and how can this resistance be developed in the pathogen. It is also important to know the different cases of resistance notified nowadays, focusing firstly in goats, the different methods to delay the development of the resistance and what alternatives are available to the use of antiparasitic drugs, in order to control the number of pathogens | en_US |
