This final degree project has reviewed the main gastrointestinal diseases of viral aetiology that affect the dog. In it, we have reflected from the most important and well known viral pathologies whose main clinical picture is gastroenteritis, such as parvovirus, through rotavirus and coronavirus, to other new emerging viruses such as vesivirus. We set out to gather information on epidemiological data, the pathogenesis and clinical manifestations of each of them, as well as the main prophylactic measures necessary for the control of the different viruses. Our study aims to gather information on the zoonotic potential of these pathologies. Finally, we have reached the conclusion that these pathologies are widely distributed worldwide, and that some of them pose a health risk to humans, making it necessary to have a better knowledge of them and their controlen_US
