Análisis del impacto del medio de pago Tarjeta WAWA Joven en los servicios de transporte de GLOBAL y predicción del comportamiento futuro

Abstract

En este estudio se analiza el efecto que ha tenido la implantación de un nuevo medio de pago, la Tarjeta WAWA Joven, en la empresa GLOBAL, empresa que presta el servicio regular de transporte interurbano en la isla de Gran Canaria. Para ello, se ha desarrollado un proceso de minería de datos siguiendo la metodología CRISP-DM mediante el que se han obtenido diferentes conclusiones sobre el uso del nuevo título de transporte, su impacto en la empresa y el comportamiento de sus usuarios. Por otro lado, se ha aplicado la metodología ARIMA a la serie temporal de viajes diarios realizados con este título para generar un modelo que permita predecir el comportamiento futuro del uso del título.

This study analyzes the effect that took place after the introduction of a new payment method: the 'Tarjeta WAWA Joven' which was introduced to Global; a company that provides regular interurban transport services on Gran Canaria. A data mining process is developed following the CRISP-DM methodology, through which different conclusions are obtained about the use of this new transport card, its impact on the company and the behavior of its users. On the other hand, the ARIMA methodology is applied to the time series of daily trips made with this title to generate a model that allows predicting the future behavior of the use of the title.
