dc.description.abstractThe objective of this brief study is to determine the duration of chemical castration in ferrets using the Suprerolin implant in Spain, for this purpose, a survey has been carried out through a web platform for ferret owners in Spain, with different variables giving results between 2 and 5 years. We describe the reproductive system of both the female and the male citing the most frequent pathologies that we can find when they are in heat, and the importance of preventing these diseases by the use of chemical castration methods instead of resorting to surgery.en_US
