Biografía
Raquel Espino was born in the Canary Islands, Spain. She is a graduate in Economics at the University of Málaga and she has Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC). She has been as visiting research scholar at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and at the Institute of Transportation Studies, University of California, Berkeley. She was also a Vicepresident of Quality and Educational Innovation at ULPGC (2007-2012). Currently she is associate professor at ULPGC and lectures in Economic Theory. Her research interests are in the field of Transport Demand Analysis, in particular Discrete Choice Analysis, Stated Preference and Estimation with mixed data, as well as Transport Economics.
