This is a descriptive and casual study addrssed to both parents and teachers of children with special educational needs derived from the intelectual, reduced mobility, auditive and visual needs or PDD (Pervasive Developmental Disorders) who have been provided with schooling at Infant and Primary school levels. Its aim is to know what expectations both groups have with regards to the schooling attention their children/pupils with special education needs are receivin and whether or not there is an influence of these expectations on the children's progress. This would allow us to know the results on four essential aspects: parent's expectations regarding the schooling attention received by their children; teacher's expectations regarding the schooling attention offered to their pupils; see if there are any coincidences between both groups; influence on the expectations of both gropus on the progress of the children/pupils with special educatonal needs. The resulting analysis would allow us tu assess if there are any convergences or divergences between what the parents and the teachers expect, therefore, it would show if we are both working in the right direction, and whether this conditions the progress of the children/pupils. This information could be used- at school though focusing on the family- to reach a consensus on the language and aims which will help to bring near both expectations.en
