Aplysterol (1) and sorne didehydroaplysterols (3-7) have been identified in marine sponge Aplysina aerophoba from the coastline of the Canary islands. This identification has been carried out by high-performance liquid chromatography, 1HNMR and 13C-NMR spectroscopy. Quantitative analysis was performed using the relative intensities of the quatemary olefin carbons of the 13C-NMR spectra. Finally, sorne results were confirmed using ultra-high performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry (UHPLC-MS/MS). There also has been done a theoric study of molecule Halichondrin B like model of substance of marine origin that has been test in clinic studies and is promising as a future medicine to fight cancer.-
