dc.description.abstract | In this work an analysis of the productivity of the Chlorella vulgaris will be developed in the prototype of a Thin Layer Culture System of Algae Culture (TLC) located in Gran Canarias, Spain. This study will first present an analysis made in a Thin Layer Culture System of Algae Culture (TLC) in Florianopolis, Brazil by Venâncio, 2016. The TLC consisted of a glass ramp, 10 m long and 2 m wide, the area total is 20 m2 inclination of 1%, in reservoir, circulation pump, electronic monitoring system and pH control through CO2 injection. The culture was maintained at a constant circulation, at a rate of 200 L/min, at a speed of 50 cm/s on a 1 cm water sheet. The culture started with a biomass of 2 g/L in a volume of 200 L, operated with the constant alimentary using the medium 3N-BBM+V. The data is measured on a daily basis: cell density (cel/mL), biomass (g/L in dry weight), chlorophyll (μg/mL), nitrate (μM), phosphate (μM), pH, temperature and irradiation. The TLC presented a great potential for an intensive cultivation of microalgae in the region of Canarias, Spain. The predicted productivity values were much higher than those obtained in the traditional microalga culture systems. | en_US |
