Aplicación web para el procesado, almacenamiento y visualización de datos oceanográficos tipo perfiles verticales

Abstract

Este proyecto tiene como objetivo cubrir la necesidad en PLOCAN de automatizar la gestión de datos tipo perfiles verticales tomados en estaciones de medidas pertenecientes al área reservada de 23 kilómetros cuadrados conocida como Banco de Ensayos. Constituye una solución web Open Source para procesar, almacenar y visualizar dichos perfiles. Se utilizan tecnologías y estándares compatibles con la organización OGC y la convención Climate and Forecast Metadata Conventions. Entre sus componentes más relevantes se encuentra el servidor de datos científicos ERDDAP, responsable de indexar y distribuir los perfiles en formato netCDF. La administración del sistema desarrollada en Django gestiona los perfiles y sus metadatos. La parte pública desarrollada en Angular realiza consultas sobre los perfiles y los visualiza mediante gráficas.

This project provides the management of vertical profiles taken in measurement stations belonging to the reserved area of 23 square kilometers known as Bank of Tests, at PLOCAN. It is an Open Source web solution for processing, storing and displaying such profiles. Technologies and standards used are compatible with the OGC organization and the Climate and Forecast Metadata Conventions convention. Among its most relevant components is the scientific data server ERDDAP, responsible for indexing and distributing the profiles in netCDF format. The system administration developed in Django manages the profiles and their metadata. The public part developed in Angular allows different criteria for searching profiles and visualizes the results through charts
