Resumen: This work is framed within the prior seismic-volcanic crisis before a big eruption. A long period where low intensity tremors cause rockfalls. The main target is to reduce rockfall risks along roads, the cost of their maintenance and the environmental impact. These measures would be really useful in developing countries. The study applies a computer simulation model ( consider 9 different parameters, study different and propose 50 design charts of narrow ditches to restrict rocks from rolling up onto the roadway.
