dc.description.abstractEl objetivo principal del informe es analizar la estacionalidad y el empleo en turismo de Gran Canaria y sus principales competidores del Mediterráneo de forma conjunta. Usando datos de estacionalidad, Índice de Gini, empleo, ADR y RevPAR se concluye que la estacionalidad en Canarias es menor que en los destinos del Mediterráneo y que en un principio parece estar relacionada con el empleo, el ADR y el RevPAR.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe main objective of this report is to analyze the seasonality and tourism employment in Gran Canaria and compare them to it’s main competitors from the Mediterranean. Using seasonality data, Gini’s index, employment, ADR and RevPAR it can be observed that seasonality in Canary Islands is lower than in Mediterranean destinations, and the reason seems to be related to employment, ADR and RevPAR.en_US
