El turismo solidario y su aplicación en Lanzarote

Abstract

El presente trabajo busca profundizar y plasmar una idea de turismo poco frecuente en nuestro territorio. Asimismo, se plantea el concepto de turismo solidario, sus antecedentes, definición, importancia, perfil del turista, impactos y repercusiones que puede tener, así como una crítica de este. A lo largo del mismo se expondrá el problema de la migración, especialmente la ilegal por vía marítima, tanto a nivel internacional, con sus principales rutas en el mundo, como las más frecuentes en nuestro país, en el Mediterráneo y poniendo el foco en la más peligrosa actualmente, la ruta en patera a Canarias. En la aplicación práctica se presentará la forma de poner en práctica este tipo de turismo en la isla con diversas acciones y se propondrá un ejemplo de proyecto solidario que podría ser parte de una posible solución al problema migratorio en patera a su llegada a la isla.

This work seeks to deepen and capture an idea of tourism that is not so common in Canary Islands. Moreover, solidarity tourism is explained, as well as its background, definition, importance, profile of the tourist, impacts and repercussions that may have, as well as a criticism of it. In the same way, it will expose the migration problem, especially the illegal one by sea that plagues the world, the main routes of the world, and the mains in Spain, in the Mediterranean Sea and more deeply the Canary one, that is the more dangerous nowadays. Finally, the practical application will study how to implement this type of tourism in Lanzarote with various actions and proposing an example of solidarity project that could be a solution to the problem of migration by boat of the island.
