The aim of this work was to perform ultrasonography and ocular ecobiometry in young (45 days) and adult (>4 years) Majorera goats. B-mode ultrasonography with a linear probe was performed in 27 goats (15 young and 12 adults) with the transcorneal technique and topical anesthesia. The macroscopically observed results were that the cornea, anterior and posterior lens capsule, alongside with the iris and the retinal rim appeared hyperechoic while the aqueous and vitreous humor as well as the lens nucleus appeared anechoic. In the result of the statistical data performed with the Jamovi program, a significant increase in all measurements (anterior and posterior chamber, lens length, and total eyeball length) was observed with advancing age. There were no differences found between left and right eyes or even sexes. The obtained results were similar to those of other animal species. Therefore, this knowledge of the physiological measurements of intraocular structures may facilitate the subsequent diagnosis of ocular pathology in goats.en_US
