Ocular fundus examination using Optibrand ClearView 2® Retinal Camera, was realised in 20 healthy young goats and 5 healthy adult canarian majorera goats. Pupil was dilated with Colircusí tropicamide® eye drops (solution 1%). All the structures of the posterior segment of the eyeball could be observed in the photographs taken. Tapetum lucidum presented blue, green and yellow colours. Non tapetal area was pigmented and horizontal shaped. Stars of Winslow were present in all animals with dark colour and small size. Optic disc was located in the transition zone, and it showed round or oval shape and pink colouration. Retinal vascularisation could be examined. Goats normally presented two to three primary arteries and two primary veins. The dorsal part of the eye fundus was most vascularized than the ventral part. No new structures were found in this research and eye fundus between young and adult goats was similar.en_US
