dc.description.abstractThe feline corneal sequestrum is a collagen degeneration caracterised by a brown or black discoloration of the cornea. Although is an exclusive pathology of the cat, it has been described too in dogs and horses. The etiopathogenesis is unclear, but causal associatons has been suggested, as entropión, tear film abnormalities or Feline Herpes Virus type 1. The objective of this bibliographic is to offer an overview about the disease, and an actualization about the different described therapys, either medical or surgical, seeing its application in real cases from the Hospital Clínico Veterinario.en_US
