Propuestas didácticas para llevar al aula ELE la novela Me llamo Suleimán de Antonio Lozano

Abstract

El presente trabajo parte de la necesidad de crear material didáctico para la clase de Español como Lengua Extranjera sobre el tema de la inmigración, con el propósito de concienciar a las nuevas generaciones de la importancia de adoptar una actitud intercultural que favorezca el diálogo y la construcción de puentes entre culturas. La competencia intercultural es un objetivo respaldado por el Marco Común Europeo de Referencia, el Plan Curricular del Instituto Cervantes y la reciente normativa sobre la asignatura Educazione Civica, introducida en Italia a partir del curso académico 2020-2021. Para ello, se ha considerado valiosa la aportación de la literatura, que es material auténtico de inestimable valor. Se ha trabajado con la novela Me llamo Suleimán (2014), de Antonio Lozano, adecuada para estimular el debate y el intercambio de ideas, además de que transmite valores cívicos. Se ha diseñado material didáctico para alumnos del nivel B2 del Liceo Lingüístico “Antonio Pigafetta” de Vicenza, Italia. Las actividades, diseñadas para desarrollar las cuatro destrezas (comprensión auditiva y lectora, producción oral y escrita) y diversas competencias, se han estructurado en tres fases: de prelectura, durante la lectura y poslectura. Esta investigación-acción puede ser utilizada, con las oportunas modificaciones, por cualquier profesor de ELE que quiera profundizar en la competencia comunicativa, literaria, metafórica, cultural e intercultural. Asimismo, se desea que este trabajo estimule la reflexión acerca del tema intercultural y la creación de material didáctico para la clase de ELE.

The intent of this work is to create didactic material for the classroom of Spanish as a Foreign Language on the theme of migration. The aim is that of making young people aware of the importance of adopting an intercultural attitude so as to promote the dialogue and build bridges between cultures. Intercultural competence is an objective endorsed by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, the Curriculum Plan of the Instituto Cervantes and the recent regulation on the subject Civic Education which has been introduced in Italy since the academic year 2020-2021. For all these reasons, the contribution of literature, as inestimable authentic material, is considered extremely valuable. The work focuses on Antonio Lozano’s novel Me llamo Suleimán (2014), which is adequate to stimulate the debate and the interchange of ideas, besides the fact that it communicates civic values. Specifically, didactic material for students of the level B2 attending the Language High School “Antonio Pigafetta” in Vicenza (Italy) has been prepared. The activities, planned with the aim of developing the four skills (listening and reading comprehension, oral and written production), and various competences, have been organised in three phases: pre-reading, during reading and post-reading. With the necessary changes, this action research can be used by any Spanish as a Foreign Language teacher who wants to work on the communicative, literary, metaphorical, cultural and intercultural competences. Moreover, the present work wishes to stimulate the reflection about the theme of interculturality and the creation of didactic material for the classroom Spanish as a Foreign Language.
