Issue Date: | 2021 | Abstract: | The use of antiparasitic drugs is widely spread nowadays in the world. The use of inadequate doses and the frequent usage of drugs leads to the faster appearance of resistance in parasites. In this review, we are going to cover what antiparasitic drugs are allowed to be used in Spain in ruminants, specifically in goats, to different groups of parasites. In this review we are also including the methods to detect resistance of a parasite to a drug and how can this resistance be developed in the pathogen.
