La actual encrucijada en el marco de los derechos humanos ante la migración

Abstract

Objetivo: La situación de pandemia generada por la Covid19 y la migración bélica que atraviesan numerosos países fuera de la Unión Europea pone de manifiesto los nuevos retos a los que se enfrentan los Estados con oleadas masivas de inmigrantes en sus fronteras. Este aumento de desplazamientos a los países de occidente supone un desafío a la hora de enfrentar la diversidad cultural de la forma más igualitaria posible entendiendo a la dignidad como presupuesto fundante. Metodología: El método seguido para la realización de este trabajo ha sido el deductivo a través del análisis de fuentes bibliográficas, legislativas y documental como opción metodológica. Resultados: Para hablar de los derechos de forma seria, es necesario partir del reconocimiento del principio de universalidad de los derechos humanos como garantía de la dignidad personal. Ello, solo puede ser posible en una comunidad mundial inclusiva que tenga como objetivo prioritario en las políticas públicas en materia de inmigración la igualdad, la solidaridad y el respeto a la identidad cultural. Contribuciones: La contribución de la investigación consiste en visibilizar la importancia de respetar la diversidad cultural derivada de la migración y presentar los beneficios que genera en la población de acogida. La respuesta no resulta pacífica en la población receptora que ve con recelos la garantía de seguridad desde varias proyecciones, económicas, culturales o incluso de seguridad e integridad personal. Se pretende con este trabajo contribuir en concienciar a la población de acogida el valor que asume las sociedades multiculturales inclusivas.

Objetive: The pandemic situation generated by Covid19 and the war migration that many countries outside the European Union are experiencing highlights the new challenges faced by states with massive waves of immigrants at their borders. This increase in the number of displacements to Western countries poses a challenge in terms of dealing with cultural diversity in the most egalitarian way possible, with dignity as the founding premise. Methodology: The method used to carry out this work was deductive through the analysis of bibliographic, legislative and documentary sources as a methodological option. Results: In order to talk about rights in a serious way, it is necessary to start from the recognition of the principle of the universality of human rights as a guarantee of personal dignity. This can only be possible in an inclusive global community that has equality, solidarity and respect for cultural identity as a priority objective in public policies on immigration. Contributions: The contribution of the research is to make visible the importance of respecting the cultural diversity derived from migration and to present the benefits it generates in the host population. The response is not peaceful in the host population, which is wary of the guarantee of security from various perspectives, economic, cultural or even in terms of security and personal integrity. The aim of this work is to contribute to raising the host population's awareness of the value of inclusive multicultural societies.
