La historia de España en las pruebas de acceso a la universidad: ¿Un desincentivo para el estudio de esta disciplina?

Abstract

En el curso 2016-2017 se implementó en toda España las nuevas pruebas de bachillerato para el acceso a la universidad (PBAU). Existe numerosa literatura que analiza el acceso a la universidad en Europa, estudiando los modelos utilizados, tipo de exámenes metodologías de evaluación y resultados. Pero no existe todavía evidencia empírica sobre el impacto de la nueva PBAU.

Este trabajo tiene como objetivo realizar un análisis comparativo de los resultados obtenidos en Baleares en la nueva PBAU con los obtenidos en la antigua PAU. El trabajo utiliza tres fuentes:

1) Datos del Ministerio de Educación sobre las pruebas PAU y PBAU, 2) Datos sobre las pruebas de la UIB, y 3) Base GESTIB de la Consejería de Educación.

Los resultados indican que la calificación media ha empeorado frente a la PAU y, al convertirse la asignatura de Historia de España en obligatoria, la calificación en dicha asignatura ha empeorado también.

In 2016-2017 year the new University Entrance Exams for school leavers who have completed upper secondary education (PBAU) were implemented throughout Spain. There is an extensive literature that analyses access to university in Europe, studying the models used, type of examinations, evaluation methodologies and results. But there is still no empirical evidence on the impact of the new PBAU.

The objective of this work is to carry out a comparative analysis of the results obtained by Balearic students in the new PBAU with those obtained in the old PAU. The work uses three data sources:

1) Database of the Ministry of Education on the PAU and PBAU exams, 2) Database on the exams provided by the UIB, and 3) GESTIB database of the Regional Ministry of Education.

The results indicate that the average grade has worsened compared to that in the PAU and as History of Spain has become a compulsory subject, the grade in that subject has also worsened.
