Los intereses soviéticos en las Islas Canarias. Sovhispán: 1971-1991. Estado de la cuestión

Abstract

El trabajo presenta un abreviado estado de la cuestión de la tesis doctoral que se leerá en la ULPGC en 2017. Se esclarece el objetivo general, se revisa la bibliografía más destacada del tema, se marcan los objetivos propuestos e hipótesis. Además, se explica la metodología empleada, las fuentes utilizadas y las dificultades del estudio. Se aspira que la tesis doctoral rellene un vacío historiográfico respecto a la normalización de las relaciones diplomáticas hispano-soviéticas, subrayando el protagonismo del archipiélago canario. Igualmente, se pretende proporcionar un análisis hondo que relacione la industria pesquera soviética y su proyección en y desde las Islas Canarias.

The paper presents a brief state of art of the doctoral thesis, which will be defended in the ULPGC in 2017. The overall objective is clarified, the most prominent literature of the subject is reviewed, the proposed objectives and hypotheses are marked. Moreover, the methodology, the sources used and the difficulties of the study are explained. It is hoped that the thesis fill a historiographical void regarding the normalization of Spanish-Soviet diplomatic relations, highlighting the role of the Canary archipelago. It also aims to provide a deep analysis relating the Soviet fishing industry and its projection in and from the Canary Islands.
