Los acentos del francés. Propuesta didáctica de FLE para estudiantes de secundaria

Abstract

Este trabajo tiene como objetivo abordar uno de los aspectos más desatendidos en la enseñanza del Francés como Lengua Extranjera: los acentos ortográficos, particularmente, el acento agudo («´» l’accent aigu), el acento grave («`» l’accent grave), el acento circunflejo («^» l’accent circonflexe) y la diéresis («¨» le tréma); y, por consiguiente, desarrollar una propuesta didáctica destinada a la enseñanza y el aprendizaje de los acentos ortográficos del francés a estudiantes hispanohablantes de FLE. Con este propósito, iniciaremos nuestro trabajo con un marco teórico que establezca los aspectos fundamentales de esta parcela de la ortografía francesa. Seguidamente, abordaremos el tratamiento que recibe el citado aspecto ortográfico en documentos de consulta obligada para todo profesor de Francés Lengua Extranjera, es decir, en una selección de manuales de FLE, en el Marco Común Europeo de Referencia para las Lenguas (MCERL), y en el currículo de la asignatura Segunda Lengua Extranjera: Francés, correspondiente al cuarto curso de ESO de la Comunidad Autónoma de Canarias. Finalmente, y teniendo en cuenta el marco teórico anterior, diseñaremos un material didáctico innovador que pretenda facilitar el aprendizaje y la adquisición de estos acentos ortográficos, especialmente cuando se vinculan a la vocal e, dirigido principalmente a alumnos hispanoparlantes matriculados en el segundo ciclo de la Educación Secundaria Obligatoria, es decir, en el curso escolar de 4º ESO, que tienen la intención de alcanzar el nivel B1 de francés al finalizar esta etapa escolar; lo que nos conducirá a nuestro objetivo.

This study aims to address one of the most neglected aspects in the teaching of French as a Foreign Language: accent marks, particularly the acute accent (“´” l'accent aigu), the grave accent ("`" l'accent grave), the circumflex accent ("^" l'accent circonflexe) and the trema ("¨" le tréma). Based on this approach, we will develop in this study a didactic proposal aimed at teaching and learning French accents marks to Spanishspeaking FLE students. With that purpose in mind, we will start our project with a theoretical framework which establishes the fundamental aspects of this aspect of French spelling. We will then address the treatment this spelling aspect receives in the documents that French teachers must consult: a selection of FLE textbooks, the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and the syllabus of the subject Segunda Lengua Extranjera: Francés which corresponds to the fourth year of ESO in the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands. Finally, and taking into account the above theoretical framework, we will design an innovative teaching material that aims to facilitate the learning and acquisition of these accents marks, especially when they are linked to the vowel e, specifically addressed to Spanish-speaking students enrolled in the second cycle of Compulsory Secondary Education, that is, in the 4th ESO school year, who aim to reach level B1 in French at the end of this school year; which will leads us to our objective.
