Líneas de Investigación
EDUCACIÓN INCLUSIVA, DIFICULTADES DE LENGUAJE Y FORMACIÓN DEL PROFESORADO: Los trabajos que se recogen en esta línea se enmarcan en el enfoque de la Educación Inclusiva. En éstos se aborda la respuesta educativa a las personas con necesidades educativas en los contextos familiar y escolar. En particular, se centran en las personas que presentan dificultades de lenguaje. La intervención en las dificultades de lenguaje se considera desde el currículo y la colaboración educativa. Estos temas abarcan, además, aspectos relacionados con la formación del profesorado.
APRENDIZAJE Y DESARROLLO DE LA PERSONALIDAD EN CONTEXTOS DE EXCLUSIÓN: Esta línea de investigación indaga en la interacción que existe entre el contexto social y el desarrollo psicológico del niño y el adolescente. Se pretende elaborar hipótesis sobre la influencia de los ambientes invalidantes en el desarrollo de los procesos psicológicos, básicos y superiores. Hipótesis explicativas sobre el desarrollo atípico en contextos de pobreza, maltrato infantil y desamparo. A partir de las evidencias, se pretende crear novedosos dispositivos de aprendizaje, entrenamientos y estrategias psicoeducativas que permitan reducir el daño de la exclusión social sobre el individuo, que mejoren la competencia social y escolar de jóvenes en exclusión social o en riesgo de padecerla.
MOTIVACIÓN Y EJERCICIO FÍSICO: Construcción, validación y análisis de propiedades psicométricas de instrumentos de evaluación psicológica en el deporte y el ejercicio físico. Análisis de los factores que promueven la motivación y conducen a un mejor rendimiento y bienestar psicológico. Desarrollo de programas de intervención para la mejora de la motivación en el contexto deportivo.
EFICACIA ESCOLAR: Los años de educación suponen un factor que incide en la esperanza y calidad de vida. Desgraciadamente, las tasas de abandono escolar y de repetición de curso están lejos de lo deseado. Por ello, es fundamental encontrar factores susceptibles de modificar que mejoren las tasas de abandono y repetición de curso. Desde esta línea de investigación se ha profundizado en factores como la calidad didáctica o el estilo comunicativo del profesorado de Educación Secundaria.
USO DE MATERIALES DIDÁCTICOS, RECURSOS Y ESCENARIOS EDUCATIVOS Y SU VÍNCULO CON LA VARIABLE MOTIVACIONAL: Esta línea de investigación pone el foco en determinar cómo aprender y mejorar la didáctica de L1 (Lengua y Literatura materna) con la implementación de recursos emergentes (realia con escritura, materiales auténticos,...) y de sesiones de aprendizaje y escenarios tecnológicos (EAS, Edublog, páginas web) que igualmente supongan una implicación mayor del aprendiz en la tarea educativa.

EDUCACIÓN INCLUSIVA, DIFICULTADES DE LENGUAJE Y FORMACIÓN DEL PROFESORADO: The works collected in this line fit into the approach of Inclusive Education. These tackle aspects related to teacher training and the education response to people with education needs in family and school contexts. They centre, particulary, on language difficulties. The intervention is considered from the curriculum and education collaboration. These issues also cover aspects related to teacher training.
APRENDIZAJE Y DESARROLLO DE LA PERSONALIDAD EN CONTEXTOS DE EXCLUSIÓN: This research line investigates the interaction between the social context and the psychological development of the child and the adolescent. We intend to elaborate hypotheses about the influence of invalidating environments on the development of basic and superior psychological processes. Explanatory hypotheses about atypical development in contexts of poverty, child maltreatment and helplessness. Based on the evidence, it is intended to create novel learning procedires, training and psychoeducational strategies that allow reducing the damage of social exclusion on the individual, that improve the social and scholastic competence of young people in social exclusion or at risk of suffering it.
MOTIVACIÓN Y EJERCICIO FÍSICO: Development, validation and analysis of psychometric properties of instruments for psychological assessment in sport and physical exercise context. Analysis of factors that promote the motivation and lead to greater performance and psychological well-being. Development of intervention programmes to improve motivation in the physical exercise and sport context.
EFICACIA ESCOLAR: Years of education is a factor that affects life expectancy and quality. Unfortunately, drop-out and repetition rates are far from what is desired. It is therefore essential to find malleable factors that can improve drop-out and repetition rates. From this line of research, factors such as the didactic quality or the communicative style of the Secondary Education teachers have been studied in depth.
USO DE MATERIALES DIDÁCTICOS, RECURSOS Y ESCENARIOS EDUCATIVOS Y SU VÍNCULO CON LA VARIABLE MOTIVACIONAL: This line of research focuses on determining how to learn and improve L1 with the implementation of emerging resources (realia materials with writing, authentic materials,...) as well as learning sessions, and technology scenarios (SLE, Edublog, web pages) that also increase a greater involvement of the learner in the educational commitment.
